So at first, they saw that I had a crack in my filling. After about a year, then I felt some pain. So she checked it out and said, “Yes, we need to move forward with a crown or a root canal, whatever it may be.” So we started prepping for the crown, and it wasn’t soon enough or whatever, right? It was time for a root canal, so she referred me to someone who was very good. My first root canal, can’t say enough good things about it. And then I came back here, and Marie finished it off with the crown. Done deal.

Well, yeah. They totally took care of me because this isn’t their first rodeo. You know, they know how to handle these situations, so I felt I was in good hands. And then by the root canal being so successful, it was perfect. Well, I would highly recommend this place because I’ve had very good service here and they’ve taken care of my teeth quite well, so I can’t say enough good things about it.

Well, I originally started coming here because it was so close to where I live and my work. So that was a plus. And then also I’m into hockey and Marie Holt’s kids were into hockey. So we got to know each other that way too. And it was just a good fit. Because I did go to someone before I came here. I was new to the area. And for a couple of years, I just, I didn’t feel the moral character was in line with mine. So it worked out to see Marie Holt and I liked her moral character and her service. So I stayed here. Her bedside manner is very good. We can joke around. We can be serious. You can talk about hockey or some horseback riding, which she likes to do. And then, yeah, we just can be ourselves. So that’s nice. Good quality of care. For one, if there’s an issue that they see that might present itself in the future, they’ve told me about it. You know, you got a little crack here. Let’s keep an eye on it. Maybe this, that. You might want to get it checked out by this person because we don’t do that here. But you know, it’s been very good and informative. Well, I like it when doctors, in general, are just straight up with me and they tell me what’s needed and what’s not needed. So I really appreciate that. So honesty is key.

Before I even considered clear aligners throughout the last, you know, 10 years, I always was a little self-conscious of just the placement of my teeth. They just needed small adjustments and once I was introduced to clear aligners, I then started to pay more and more attention of, oh that tooth is a little setback or it is a little crooked. And so I was really eager to get into the clear aligners. I am a lot more confident with my smile now. I never knew that just a little alterations would have such a big impact. Throughout the clear aligner journey, I saw improvements right away, really. It was great to come into the office, I would say, every two or three months and you would see little progress because it would capture pictures of your arches and just the movement that you’ve had within that time period. So it was kind of nice to see. Sometimes you don’t realize what has improved because you look at your teeth every single day, but if you look back at a picture, there’s a big difference. I do live a very busy lifestyle, but the clear aligners didn’t really enable me from doing anything out of my normal. I would say that if I could have done it sooner, I absolutely would have. If I had the nerve or education that the outcome was going to be what I got, I totally would have done it a lot sooner.

I enjoy going to Parkview because it is a short distance from my house. We’re a very busy family with three kids and sports, so fitting in everyone’s schedule can be time-consuming and a hassle. So it’s really nice that Parkview is in the center of town, and it’s easy to schedule appointments for all of us. My greatest…I want to call it an accomplishment from Parkview is because I was introduced to clear aligners, which has made a huge difference to my smile and it boosts my self-confidence. And it was a small expense for a great outcome.

So it just…when I originally chipped my teeth, they tried to put medicine in when I was younger to try and save the tooth. You know, and that worked for a while until I, you know, might’ve fallen again and chipped them again. Once I did that, I caused too much damage to the tooth itself. So they had to do a root canal. Again, I would have been 19, maybe 20 years old. Again, just a seamless, good process. If you need a root canal or a crown, period, really any service for your teeth, these people are great. They pay attention to detail. I’ve got a good smile because of them. And yeah, just wouldn’t ever go anywhere else.

I broke them when I was…I would have been like 10, 11, 12. Chipped them playing in the basement and I’ve gone through 20 years of experience with those. Sometime in my college years they got busted out again and those had to become root canals and get crowns on them and they’ve always been good teeth until I was ripping open a bag and broke one off and they’ve been again just exceptionally good about it and again just treated me great. They both look really good. I even have one in the back. They feel good. They feel like my natural teeth so that’s what you’d want. And even the temporaries they would make for me, at times, it looked just like my real teeth and I was like hey that’s just, you know, it’s only supposed to be there for a couple weeks. I just feel like the whole process working with them is very seamless and easy and they’re, generally, nice people here so it’s hard to not have a smile when you’re walking out of here.

Really, it’s the people that work here. They’ve always been great to me, especially Dr. Holt. And even at that, been using Dr. Anya now and she’s awesome as well. So, it’s really the people that work here, even the staff, everybody at front, everybody out back, the hygienists. Again, Dr. Holt, Dr. Anya, they’re just all around great people. And yeah, would never go anywhere else, personally. I’ve been coming here since I was 2, so it’s not just been me. It’s been my two brothers, my parents, pretty much our family that lives around here. They come here and I’ve just had a kid. He’s only a couple of months old, but here soon I’ll bring my own kid here. So I have that much trust in them. And I feel like they’ve just always gone above and beyond what I would expect. Even when I’ve done damage to my own teeth, they’ve still done… They’ve worked with me on things and it’s just been a great experience.

I grind my teeth really bad at night. It was getting to the point to where my jaw, I was waking up with a really, really sore jaw. And I went in and told them, and they talked to me about the mouth guard that they had. It feels very comfortable. It’s not big and bulky. I would definitely, recommend them to at least talk to them about it and see what they have to say. Because like I said, you can trust what they have to say and their opinions.

I love going because you feel like you’re a part of the family. You feel very comfortable. You know they’re going to take care of you. It’s very just…it’s comfortable and homey. Other practices that I’ve been to, they didn’t feel very homey and I’ve gotten falsely diagnosed. In here, I have I’ve never even felt like I had to go even and get a second opinion for anything. I felt like I was just part of the family and I wasn’t just another number. It makes me feel really good, especially because my kids go there, too.

If I can trust them that much, it makes me feel good that I can take my kids there and they’re comfortable there. They like…they love going to the dentist. So the quality of care is amazing. I love it. I don’t even want to go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend coming here, whether it’s over at the Hagerstown location or Newcastle or here in Fishers, I would definitely recommend coming here because it’s a great, great practice.
