A Dentist With a Passion for Helping Others
Dr. Katie Petry-Rich’s motto is, “When you love what you do, Monday feels the same as Saturday.”
She genuinely cherishes her profession and eagerly anticipates each workday. With a deep-rooted passion for helping others, she appreciates the artistic and scientific aspects of dentistry. The ability to enhance a smile, alleviate discomfort, and contribute to her patients’ optimal oral and overall health brings her immense satisfaction. She can’t see herself doing anything else.
Born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, Dr. Petry-Rich always knew she would pursue a career in the medical field. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology from Purdue University, she attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2008. After working in corporate dentistry for a year, her love for people and small-town living drew her to private practice in 2009. She feels privileged to work with a team of professionals who share her compassion, high standards, and commitment to delivering state-of-the-art dental care.
When she’s not working, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her husband, a veterinarian who hails from New Castle. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, biking, and snow skiing. They also share a love for football, especially cheering for the Colts.
